Thank you ladies. I have never been one to believe in miracles, but she had a four cm tumour, which was flat and round. If you think about the size of that you will know that it wasnt small and early. Its unbelievable. It is the best news ever.
Its been a crap year as most of you know. Mum found she had cancer, then I had my lump and waited 8 weeks to get the all clear after surgery, and then my daughter was dx with depression.
Mum is on the road to recovery, my lump was benign, and daughter is doing ok too!
Thank you all of you for the love and kindness you have expressed your all amazing people.
Your welcome just remember we all have bad years, but there is always something around the corner, as my Nan used to say as one door shuts another opens x now its up and onwards xxxxxx
So pleased your mum got the results you were hoping for, as I told you before my lump was 4.5 cm and clear nodes. It is unfortunate that some people have tiny lumps but lots of nodes involved.
Oh My God! I am SO SO SO pleased for you, and I know exactly how you must have felt today.
Miracles do happen - I got mine last Friday and today you got yours.
My Mum also needs the rads and tamoxifen.
I have had a tear for you - I was thinking of you today whilst doing my shopping in ASDA's.
You really deserve this news - all the best for your Daughter too xx
PS - After the blur of the last 2 months I cant really remember certain things like my birthday , our wedding ann. Then after the wonderful news last Friday I thought at the time oh well, I will be able to get on with life, but I felt SO tired for 4 days, must be all the tension being released.
I am so so so bloody chuffed for you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx PPS Enjoy Mexico
hi jules and mum ,what fantastic news ,you both must be over the moon , what a sigh of relief your mum must have given after that lot eh !! as you say lobular can go into the other breast but with all the check ups that your mum will;l now recieve ,she will be ok .a very big party down your way is on the cards eh?????!!!!! sending you both VERY BIG HUGS . lynn xxxxx
Thank you maximise and aroma. Woke up this mornng, still finding it hard to beliive, but thrilled to bits. And yes there is a very high chance sadly that lobular will return in the other breast, BUT she will be having 6 monthly checks for the next five years, so thats fantastic in if she does get it it will be picked up quickly.
Suzy, I did think of you too yesterday, and wished I had had an email address for you as wanted to tell you because I knew you had been through the whole thing on Friday and how pleased you were and I wanted to share that with you. Thank you so much for thinking of us all yesterday, it means alot.
I am so looking forward to Mexico now, but I am having massive problems with my mouth after all the dentral procedures I had last week, root canal has caused an infection in my mouth so am on antibiotis and it doesnt want shift! Can't eat on the side of the root canal and its over a week ago and the pain is getting worse lol bloody dentist grrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Anyway apart from that everything is fantastic. I am so happy for mum, she really must have a guardian angel up there. She is the best mum in the whole wide world, and everyone loves her and she is so giving and caring, and I am glad to see she had been paid back for her lovely ways and got a break from the horrendous bc.
Love to you all, and thank you again for your kindness.
Hi Jules so glad that your mums results were good and that she doesn't need chemo bet thats a weight off your mind. I am so pleased for you. I also had a 4.4 cm lobular tumour and though it was large it is still classed as early stage as all my nodes were clear and the margins were very good - the size isn't always the significance so that along with her age is probably why she doesn't need chemo. I think I was recommended (though it was my choice) for chemo as I was pre menopausal- not now I hasten to add as chemo has put me into it Anyway have a lovely day. XXX
ALL my nodes were clear despite a grade 3, 3.5cm triple negative tumour - even my surgeon was completely shocked. Miracles do indeed happen and we have to hold onto that. Breast Cancer is so unpredictable - women with BC defy the medical profession every day and may it long continue.
I'm so, so glad that life for you is on an even keel at the moment - you deserve it. Best wishes to you hun. Jacqui xx
