Hi Ruth, I am so glad my dad's funeral is now over. Now I am wading through mountains of paper sorting out his affairs but I have decided to return to work next week after being off since April. A bit of normality in my life would be nice with no more nasty surprises for a while (that man with a black cloak and a scythe has been hanging around me much too much recently !!) I think my chemo brain has gone into overdrive- even tho I've finished chemo!!! I thought the Marillion gig was on 16th - least that's what my OH said (perhaps chemo brain is catching). However, it is the 15th, which is Saturday so I can't make Saturday unfortunately. Could have made Sunday after all couldn't I? what a lemon!! I would like to meet up for coffee before the Xmas meal, but a Saturday would be best maybe - don't know what hours you work in the week?

Yes the travelling is a bit of a pain but I've met people who have to travel further so can't complain. It's a great idea to have things to look forward to so will be looking forward to these get togethers. My treatment finishes 4th December. No I am not local to Fareham. Used to live in Gosport several years ago, but now live in Four Marks. My husband currently works in Waterlooville and we have been toying with a move back down to the Portsmouth area, but I don't know if we will do. It would reduce the travelling he has to do. Anyway next Saturday sounds great for coffee - will leave you to decide venue as I don;'t know Fareham that well - have been away too long!!
