This section covers some of the most frequently asked questions about ways in which you can take care of your self after treatment for breast cancer.

It looks at prevention of osteoporosis - a serious long term side effect of treatment for breast cancer. While there is no definitive way of preventing this condition there are many ways in which you can reduce the risk of it occurring.

We also discuss complementary therapies and diet; after treatment has finished many people want to take back control of their lives. Some people may feel that changing their diet, exercising more and using complementary therapies can help them achieve this.

This section is not an exhaustive list of ways you can look after yourself, neither is it a recommendation from Breast Cancer Care that you should change your life to incorporate any of these ways.
