Our free HeadStrong service can help prepare you for the possibility of losing your hair due to cancer treatment.

At a private appointment, our trained volunteer will talk through how to look after your hair and scalp before, during and after treatment. 

What we cover

We will also show you how to make the most of alternatives to wigs by using scarves, hats and other headwear. This practical session aims to find out which styles suit you best.

We want to make sure you leave feeling confident that you’ve found something that works for you.    

How to book

We recommend you book an appointment before you start to lose your hair so you are prepared and know what is available in advance. You can attend as many times as you like and you are welcome to bring along a companion for support. Visit our HeadStrong locations page to find a service near you.
