Campaign success
Thank you for helping us successfully campaign for free prescriptions for people with cancer.
The Prescription for Change campaign, launched in 2006 called for all cancer patients in the UK to be exempt from prescription charges.
We would like to thank you for supporting this campaign. Many of you wrote to your elected representatives to highlight this injustice and the politicians listened – it shows that campaigning counts.
Breast Cancer Care will continue to monitor the situation across the UK to ensure that the current policies do not change and cancer patients will not have to pay for their prescriptions.
