What we do
Breast Cancer Care is here for anyone affected by breast cancer. We bring people together, provide information and support, and campaign for improved standards of care. More about us >
Service volunteering
Volunteering at Breast Cancer Care is a great way to support people affected by breast cancer and with breast health concerns. Our volunteers ensure we can run a wide range of services, many of which we would struggle to provide without them. Where we lack funds, experience or expertise, volunteers make so much more possible. And they ensure we can represent the views of people with breast cancer, and have a voice loud enough to be heard when campaigning for improved treatment and care.
However, volunteering isn’t all about what you can do for others, it also benefits you. Some people choose to volunteer because they have used our services and want to give something back; some have been out of work for a while and want to gain new skills to boost their confidence and CV. Some people have time to spare and want to do something that will introduce them to new people and experiences where they will make friends and have an enjoyable time.
