All Clear Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know i got the all clear! Came back as normal benign lumpy breast tissue.
I am very relieved. Cant quite believe it is all over now though. It has been going on for almost three months and has completely controlled my life in that time.
I really appreciate the support of everyone in this difficult time. I wish those of you waiting for results the very best of luck and my thoughts are with you all.

Hurray!! Wow that is fanatastic news - I just replied to your last post when you were really stressed. Did they phone you or did you get a letter?
Now you can disregard that advice and get on with enjoying the rest of the summer.

Thanks again for your kind words and support.
They called me this morning. Was really shocked as i thought it would not be till tomorrow.
Its such a difficult time when you are waiting for diagnosis after finding a lump, and its strange but all of that stress does not just immediately vanish when you get the all clear. When it has gone on for so long it takes a bit of time to get your head round the fact its all over. Of course the relief is immense, but its such a traumatic time that its quite difficult to pull yourself back out of that hole. I feel so fortunate as i know the outcome could have been disasterous but i feel i need a little bit of time to get my head around the physchological affects of the waiting and worrying. I know family members etc wont understand and they are all calling me and are so delighted (which of course i am) and are saying forget it now and move on, but when you have been that terrified and it had controlled every waking moment (and every dream) for what seems like forever, you cant just forget it in a second. Im sure in a couple of days it will hit my how fantasic this news is and what it feels like to sleep again, but i really believe from now on ill be much more aware of my body and how easy it is to take our good health for granted. We cant control our health and thats what makes situations like these so traumatic.

What absolutely brilliant news it is. I\'m so pleased for you.
I know that people arpund you can\'t imagine what goes through your head and how you feel when all you\'re doing is waiting...firstly for appointments and then results.
I\'ve been luckier then most I suppose as my wait for an appointment, which is tomorrow, has only been two weeks and isn\'t a long time in the scheme of things, but when you\'re waiting it\'s a lifetime. People around you don\'t understand how you put your life on hold and how every minute that you\'re awake you\'re filled with the not knowing. I\'ve got the important people around me all saying it\'ll be good news and don\'t worry, but as we all know it\'s just impossible to think like that. So I can imagine that receiving good news, in a way, is just as draining - so you take your time adjusting and I wish you all the best for the future.
You are the hat-trick for the last weeks results I\'ve read about and its lifted me and made me feel hopefull.

Thank You Dear All,
Thanks so much for all of your support and good wishes. You all helped to keep me sane over those difficult couple of months. (along with my lovely hubby)
By the end of the first day of hearing my good news the relief had completely swept over me and i was on cloud 9. Only took a couple of days to totally pull myself back together and try to put all of the stress behind me. Life has returned to normal now, im very happy to say. It feels good not to be worrying about my lump all the time.
I really appreciate all the support and advice i recieved on here, the women who use this forum are inspirational.
This experience has really opened my eyes to Breast Cancer and the women (and of course men) who suffer from it. I think that it can only be a good thing to be aware of this and to be more supportive and knowledgeable in the future when faced with it.
My thoughts are love are with all you.
