annual mammogram Ive just had my first mammogram since diagnosis and I have to go back to the clinic on Friday as there is an area in my other breast which needs further investigation.
Has anyone any ideas apart from the worst!!
love cally
Hello Cally,
I hope everyhing is OK for you tomorrow.
I got recalled last year for mammogram and ultrasound, following my yearly mammo. Fortunately everything proved to be \'no change\' but it is scarey isn\'t it, but I suppose they wouldn\'t be doing us any favours if they let things go.
I am now on 2 yearly mammograms.
Regards Di
I had a dodgy mammogram and luckily I was still in the hospital when they realised what was wrong. I saw the xray and it was of the opposite breast to the one that had cancer in it and there was this white blob on it and I went into panic mode, crying etc. I had it redone there and then and they said that they had not xrayed the same area as the year before. Anyway before I left the hospital I was told it was okay and that was confirmed at my appointment with my surgeon but it really shook me at the time.
I hope everything is okay for you
Hazel
