Another bright star has had to leave us

My good friend Nicky has had to leave her loving husband and 10 year old son. She died yesterday at home with her family. She has stoically endured eight years of treatment to control secondaries.
She was too young and it was much too soon. Lunches out with me and her friends will never be the same again, there will always be an empty chair at the table.
