Anyone coming up to 1st year mammo check?

Hello
I had lumpectomy, rads & am on tamoxifen. Coming up to first mammo @ end of month since treatment last yr. Can't stop thinking about it all. I have nearly come onto the all nighters sessions, as awake several times with tamoxifen flushes which seem to have got worse over the last few weeks for some reason! Maybe I am fretting too much. Anyone else feeling the same (anxious) etc. My OH gets annoyed if I talk about it, so I try to shut off & get on with things' but it's all looming again.
Best wishes 2 you all & thanks 4 listening.

Hi
I have had lump removal, lymph clearance , Chemo and I am three sessions away from finishing RT, I am supposed to start taking Tamoxifen, I want to be sure that my one-year mammo is clear and I am in no more pain before starting.
I know I have to take tamox and know I have to take on the SEs' again, so you may find me on the all-nighter sessions at some point. LOL
we all 'fret' in our own way, there is a lot to fret about.!!!!
I used to think that an all-nighter was some sort of rave, now I know its' the times when I sleep all night LOL
hope all goes well for you

Hi Whiterabbit I had my first mammogram after treatment (DX Dec 2010, WLE and Aux clearance Jan 2011, Chemo and rads ended Nov) last week, and yes I was nervous about it too. Hubby said he hadnt given it a thought when I came back to tell him all was ok - guess for him, it was all over as I am back at work. I hope yours goes as well as mine did - it wasn't even as uncomfortable as I had expected, and I was told straight afterwards that everything was ok.
best wishes xx
Hi Gardenparty & PRoject Woman - great names!
Thx for responding to me. (all nighters comment made me laugh).
I have been back @ work since June & mostly try to carry on as normal, but not a day goes by where I don't think about it (esp with tamoxifen flushes @ the mo)....glad your results we're ok, hope my results are NED too. Will let you know. Good luck with SEs-hope you don't get any.
Best wishes
Alis
