Hi to everyone
Has anybody out there had INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE if so could you please let me know what you think only I am booked in for one in a few weeks.(cannot do them untill you are 5 weeks out of treatment)
Thanks
JanetS
Indian Head Massage Had one last week. The lady massaged my head with an essential oil. Quite pleasant, but not sure whether I derived any benefit from it.
Be sure to wash your hair when you get home, as this procedure makes it quite greasy.

--- ---Thanks Mcgle for your reply does not matter much about my hair at the moment (not got much due to chemo)
Have you ever tryed REIKI?
JanetS
Reiki Now with Reiki, I have had more success. Considered it to be a load of old hokum, but thought, as it was free, I would give it a whirl.
Being a sceptic by nature, I was most surprised to feel intense warmth on the parts of my body where the therapist placed her fingers. Indeed, I kept touching her hands which were quite cool!
Don’t know quite what to make of this, but there has to be something to it¦

--- Hi Janet,
I\'ve had 2 given to me by a friend who\'d been on a course so doesn\'t do it professionally. I found it very relaxing. She recommended that i left the oils in my hair when i went to bed - I put a towel over my pillow.
The first one i had was only about a month after my mastectomy and axillary clearance and my arm was still very painful with very restricted movement. The Indian head massage seemed to bring about a massive improvement in movement and discomfort.
It was so good she gave me another one a few weeks later. I haven\'t had any since. I was very embarrassed about having one after my hair fell out as I didn\'t like people seeing me bald.
Best wishes
Kelley
--- ---I had aromatherapy massage and indian head massage at local hospital right through treatment. It really helped to relax me and help with my sleep. Have not had any since Nov and have noticed how stiff my neck is and I have decided to go back and have some further treatments.
Have recently had a couple of treatments of Bowen which has helped with rib and back pain from rads.
Would love to try reiki again, had one go at BCC cancer course last autumn.
