not been in same situation myself but wanted to wish you loads of good luck i will keep everything crossed for you take care xxxx
Hi Sharleen Loads of luck for tomorrow. I\'m not in the same situation either - but having been diagnosed with breast cancer at 35, and finding out I carry the BRCA1 gene, I wish I\'d started getting screened a long, long time ago.
The only thing I can advise is to try to keep your cool, be very clear, but very insistant.
Let us know how you get on,
Love

Just back Just back, the meeting was awful you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife, my mum was with me. It was with the head of service, she was like a school mam, though I was gonna get 3 of the belt lol!! The complaints officer was there too, she was really nice.
Anyway still refusing to refer me, she says they dont keep lists of people who need mamograms, my mother got tore in but to no avail, Ive got the optioon of going to the public services ombusman.
The fight goes on
Sharleen
So sorry... That it didn\'t go well - was hoping you\'d get somewhere. Are you going to the ombudsman?
I really hope you get somewhere - seems so unfair when all you want it peace of mind...

Considering Im considering it at the moment. I got the impression for some strange reason, that they might have got their backsides kicked for handling things so badly, dont know why coz nothing was said to insinuate that, just the manner of the doctor though grrrrrrrr!!
