Breastfeeding and BC

Not sure if this is the right place for this but here is my concern -
I was Dx with BC in november. My girls are 3 and 4 and i breastfed them both. If the cancer was there for some time before it was found is there any risk that they could have been passed any cancer in breast milk?
Foolish thinking probably but i can't help but wonder if there was any risk - does anybody know of any research etc into this area?

Hi Goosey
I noticed that you have not had any replies to your question on breast feeding and breast cancer and thought you may like to talk to a member of our helpline staff to see if they can offer any information.
The free phone number is 0808 800 600 and the lines are open Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.00 and Saturday 9.00 to 2.00.
best wishes
