Very interesting! Not sure if this is in the best section to be noticed by those such as myself who have liver secondaries
Also I wonder what is the difference between radioembolism as used in the Foxfire trial, and a similar technique, SIRT = Selective Internal Radiotherapy Treatment ( http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Cancerinformation/Cancertreatment/Treatmenttypes/Radiotherapy/SIRT.aspx
http://cancerhelp.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/cancer-questions/Selective-internal-radiation-therapy-for-secondary-bowel-cancer )
(BCC Mods, I hope you'll allow these Macmillan and CRUK links through. I found them on a search of "sirt cancer")
SIRT has been used for treatment of at least one patient in the UK with bc and liver mets.
Interesting!
