I reported back in March 2011 that following Cyberknife treatment in October 2010, the mets in my skull appeared to be dying off and there was no evidence of disease anywhere else. I've since had more scans (in October 2011), and was told today that not only have the skull mets gone, but the bone has now healed. Additionally there is still no evidence of disease anywhere else.
Obviously this does not represent a cure, but it probably means I will see Christmas, and the birth of my first grandchild in February.
Three cheers for chemo and Cyberknife.
