Laura, there has been a lot of research done on the effectiveness of cyberknife for lung mets, and the National Radiotherapy Implementation Group (which is a Government Advisory Group, and provides expert advise to NICE on radiotherapy issues), has said that there is enough evidence to recommend that Cyberknife should be funded outright for stage 1 inoperable lung cancer.
If you want to pm me, I can give you the Email address of Accuray's Patient Liaison Director, who can provide you with details of the research that has been done on the efficacy of Cyberknife for lung mets.
I don't know if you have had chance to contact the doctor I mentioned in my reply to your pm earlier, but he can also provide this information.
Anecdotal evidence can only ever be a rough guide.
