DCIS results
I had a WLE two weeks ago and got my results today, which thankfully were good. The DCIS was completely removed with clear margins, it was contained, so no need for tamoxifen.
I am seeing an oncologist next week to see whether she recommends radiotherapy. My daughter had this when she had leukaemia and she and I are both agreed that 'the consultant knows best'. I was just wondering if most people have radiotherapy after these results.
I have asked for a copy of my path report, but I see you can ask for copies of their discussions about you, which I have never heard of before. Has anyone asked for these?
Thanks
jayne

hi there,
not heard about the copy of discussions either, so will be interested to see what posts come back on this issue.
best wishes for your appointment next week.
