the next Edinburgh Breast Buddy (EBB) lunch is on sat 30th April from 1.30 in Hamiltons Bar and Kitchen in Stockbridge.
new members always welcome to join us.... and you dont just have to come from edinburgh...
we have booked the comfy sofas in front of the bar between 1.30 and 7pm so do feel free to pop along even if its just for a wee while.

Thanks to you and the other girls for letting me join the EBB lunch yesterday. It was good to meet you all, hear your stories, get some good practical advice and information but also, so very importantly, to be able to talk to people who really understand.
I didn't get any messages from facebook so it must have been another Sheena that received all your invites!! I've had a look at trying to find the EBB group to add but can't seem to find it. Did I pick you up wrong and it's only the main Breast Cancer Care page or is there an EBB one? Maybe you could give me a child's step-by-step guide on how to find and add??

our next lunch is on saturday 13th Aug at Hamiltons Bar and Kitchen in Stockbridge.
we will be meeting from around 1.30 and we are usually still there till about 5 or 6 or even later sometimes..... you dont have to stay for the whole time people are welcome to pop in and out.

A bit about me - I was diagnosed with bc in May and started 6xfec in June (4 down,2 to go) and will then have surgery followed by rads, so kinda new to all this and still getting used to how bc is taking over my life....

Hi catface. I'm not sure when the next Edinburgh lunch is (I'm sure Lulu will let you know) but there is a Glasgow one on the 1st October (see separate thread). I'm going through from Edinburgh, as is Lulu. There are people from Glasgow, Ayrshire, Stirling and all over going to it. If you're still in the middle of chemo, you maybe wont want to travel though. But worth keeping an eye on the thread if you're feeling up to it.

the next edinburgh lunch is on saturday 3rd sept at hamiltons bar and kitchen in stockbridge from about 1.30 onwards.... it can be a quite a few hours LOL but you dont need to stay the whole time.

I only found your thread a couple of days ago so missed the Stockbridge one (although that was only a couple of days after surgery anyway).

it was lovely to see everybody and especially the newbies.... really enjoyed our long lunch... eventually got home at 1.30am and had a hellish hangover on sunday.

was a late night Al only fell asleep at 6.... think its more just my sore mouth and aches keeping me awake and couldnt get comfy (and walts snoring!)... ended up sleeping on the sofa for a few hours.
