First Annual Mammo
Had first annual mammo this morning and ALL CLEAR.
Huge relief as I've been thinking every ache was something sinister, & was physically shaking when I had results; goodness knows what I'd have been like if I'd had to wait for a letter.
I do have a couple of calcifications which as near surgery site & I had DCIS picked up as calcifications they want me to have another mammo in 6 months to see if they changing.
Apparently these can be common after surgery and they look different to my previous cancerous ones. Radiologist said they look begnin but we want to ere on side of caution.
Take care everyone
Hubby has promised something nice for tea (Hope it's a good bottle of wine!)

That's wonderful ..... you must feel so relieved!!
I have my first one in 2 weeks time and I turned into a nervous wreck the minute I made the appointment,
can't sleep, imagining the worst.....I was feeling pretty upbeat till I wrote the mammo appt in my diary!
Enjoy the wine xxx
