Hi
I have just been told that my breast cancer has returned to my liver for the 3rd time, originally diagnosed in Dec 05 have managed to keep my job in the navy and work full time, am now fed up. My family lives 400 miles away and friends seem to disapear, tho some have become closer. My boyfriend had left for a younger modal with boobs. If any one wants to meet up in Pompey or Gosport area I am up for it.

Hiya Shaz
I am in Fareham which is not too far away. Are you missing Haslar as much as I am. Had an appointment at QA and it was a nightmare. I admire you for being able to continue i the navy I did 14 years but left when i got married
It would be good to meet up
Take care
Hilary
Hi Shaz and Hilary
I live near the much feared QA and am missing Haslar too. Would love to meet up for a chat and a coffee.
Jude
Thanks guys. have tried to em you via the name link to avail. If you want to suggest a day and time we could all get together that would be great. Shaz
Hello Shaz and Jude
It would be good to meet up. Which would be best daytime or evening. If it were daytime it would have to be a weekend as I work weekdays but that might be nice to meet up in daylight if that makes sense. I am in fareham but can get to Gosport or Pompey
Best wishes
Hilary
Shaz, you posted this ages ago so I hope all is going well for you with treatment.
I live north of Winchester and have also just been diagnosed for the 3rd time. I am in the Army and am still working but as and when I like really. I have had 10 months off (1st time dx) and a year off (second dx. I hope you are getting a siimilar amount of support from work, the Army have been amazing for me, and you really should be able to get home to be with your family.
Please look after yourself, the Navy will still keep you on full pay if you take time off with cancer.
hello, i am im gosport, but just noticed this post was years ago...hope you are doing well....
