A hole in my life
I have read through many of the postings on this page, and have taken much comfort from words that have been left for others.
I lost my beautiful mum on 29 March. We knew she didn't have long, but had no idea of the rapidness with which she would deteriorate. After leaving her peaceful, concious but tired on Monday night (with a 2 week prognosis) she deteriorated with such severity, but thankfully no pain, and passed away at 1.05pm 29 March. She spoke to me literally moments before.
The shock of this inevitable but sad ending has stayed with me, and I cannot believe that she is no longer here.
Thanks to all the people who have given me hope, encouragement and support in helping my mum over the last few years, and love and peace to you all.

So sorry for your loss. xx
Hi just wanted to add my condolences - a very sad time for you. Its good that she wasn't in pain and you were able to speak at the end. Lots of love to you xx
My deepest condolances.

I'm so sorry that you've lost your Mum. I can only imagine how that must feel. I lost my "second Mum" - she passed away five years ago now, and it only seems like yesterday that I felt the raw, burning emptiness that she left behind.
Even when we know and expect that a loved one's days are limited, it's still such a shock when they go - take good care of yourself, and we are all thinking of you on here. My heart goes out to you.
With much love xxxx
