learnt how to run
hey
when i had my dx in sept 2010 i was also was down for major throat surgery to remove part of my windpipe that was collapsing and not allowing me to breathe. So i had my throat op, and lumpectomy under the same operation..
i completed my first race today, 5k. did it by walking/running/walking running. and loads of crying, lol. im 6 weeks after finishing cemo and rads. My partner has ran 2 marathons this year for BCC,so im doing my bit now.
my friend and i are doing a walk of 100 miles across the St Oswalds way in northumberland in august too !! who has time to return to work!!

Poppy, that's amazing! I did a Race for Life yesterday and walked it all - I simply don't run. I am extremely impressed!
