I'm so very sorry to let you all know that Mary was taken into hospital on Tuesday and sadly passed away yesterday:-( They stopped the pain immediately on arriving at hospital, but it all went downhill quite quick from then on and she passed away peacefully without any pain on Saturday morning.
We became close friends on the "feeling low" thread and on FB.
You'll forever be missed:-(. Lost a dear friend and fighting partner on this journey.
Typing with tears in my eyes. Sleep well, my dear friend.

Oh my goodness I'm so shocked and saddened to hear this. We had spoken, this summer, of meeting up in the Autumn...we lived quite close.
Mary was such a thoughtful and supportive member of the forums, particularly in the feeling low thread.
My sincere condolences to Mary's family.
I am so shocked and completely devastated!
Mary and I had become really close and often emailed and phoned each other. I last spoke to her on 11th Sept when she was due to begin rads. She was feeling ill on rhe 12th so got her husband Keith to ring me to wish me a happy birthday - that was the kind of thoughtful woman she was! I have been away on holiday so not in contact with Mary though I did email her whilst away, now I know why I got no response and I'm so so sad. I suppose the best thing to think is that at least it happened quickly and that her final hours were peaceful, but I am sitting here crying and cursing this evil desease.
God Bless Mary, I shall always remember you and am so pleased to have known you, my thoughts are with Keith. RIP dear friend with all my love and hugs (if you can still get them in heaven)Julie xx

I would like to add my condolences. I didn't 'know' Mary but had read the Feeling Low thread. What a dreadful shock this seems to have been for all of those who knew her. This is a cruel, cruel disease. May she rest in peace and my thoughts are with her family and friends.

I am so sad and shocked to read this dreadful news. Mary was one of the first 'cyber friends' I made on here and has been a fantastic friend and support to me over the past 18 months. I am so shocked by the speed of her passing - Julie I too had sent her a message, on Friday and usually Mary responds immediately, but I had absolutely no idea she was so ill.
R.I.P Mary, you will forever be in my thoughts. Love to Keith and wishing him the strength to get through this difficult time.

Hi all,
Just spoken to Mary's husband Keith and read out all your messages left for her on here. He's grateful that she's remembered by so many people.
He just asked me to pass on a little message and request:
There is going to be a service and remembrance held for her on 11th, Oct at 11am. If you would like to say a little prayer for her at that time, that would be greatly appreciated.
