Re: For Marylou

Hi Gillyflower Speaking to the bc nurse today, have a long list of questions!! I have got it in my own mind that i will have the bilateral, but i just need to know all the facts.
Bad day yesterday! went bra shopping! trying to find a nice 34c full cup bra is a nightmare, i bought two & i am taking them both back! The problem is i just keep thinking i don't know what they will look like until after the op & i have something to put in them!
How are you doing? Is the rads ok?
I will be glad when i start my treatment, it will make me feel alot safer! 2 months 3 weeks since 1st dx & it's still there!
thanks for keeping in touch, it's nice to know your there.

Re: For Marylou

Morning Hi Louise

Rads ok, only 4 more to go, skin getting sore now though!!

I went to a shop in Derby for my bras, dont remember what it was called but its just up from Macdonalds, they have full cup, nonwired bras and are really pretty, i paid £22 though but well worth the money, It's really comfy and my prosthesis doesnt fall out, and i'm a 34 DD. Perhaps worth a look!!

Are you at the city, who's your bc nurse??? Mine is Heather, she's really good and has loads of time for me.

Look after yourself.

Re: For Marylou

Morning to you to Hi Gilly
I am at the city, my breast care nurse is Diane, but i am seeing both Diane and Marlene today.
Thats where i got one of my bras from yesterday, i think it's called Contessa! I surpose i'm just not in the right frame of mind at the moment, i'm not used to wearing full cup bras, with not much there i am used to buying the ones that push them up and out (ha,ha).

I remember i used to get really dehydrated when i had my rads last time, but as it was only a lumpectomy it was only over a small area so it didn't get that sore.

you take care

Louise xx
