I am seeing a medical herbalist tomorrow on the advice of a Breast Care Clinic .. has anyone had any dealings good or bad? I have done my first of six chemos and had all the usual symptoms afterwards, nausea, tired, ropey etc but fine now.

Aye, I saw one at the Haven. She made me up a tincture to cover a number of ills including my Crohn's disease. I have to say that in the 3 weeks that I've been taking it, the Crohn's has been the most settled it has been since diagnosis. She also made me up some Comfrey Oil for rubbing in the bruising and soreness after I had a portacath fitted - I had trouble getting out of bed and moving my head. The improvement was both fast and amazingly effective.
Worth a shot IMO.
Hello Angie. I saw Anita Ralph in Canterbury, Kent. She treated me throughout surgery, radiation and ongoing hormonal treatment. That and acupuncture have really, really helped with my healing. PM me if you would like to know more. Best wishes.

Mine was the lady at the Leeds Haven; not sure if I'm allowed to mention her by name but she is the only one there who does that.
