New Secondary Service in Cardiff
Living with Secondary Breast Cancer-Cardiff
Breast Cancer Care is launching a new service for people with secondary breast cancer in Cardiff from February onwards. The new service, is designed to give you opportunities to learn more about secondary breast cancer and to explore its impact on different areas of your life. It also gives you a chance to meet up with others in a similar situation to chat and share experiences.
Sessions are monthly and you are free to attend regularly or dip in and out – whatever suits you. The launch day on 15 February will be a longer day and include talks on the medical management of secondary breast cancer and fatigue as well as the opportunity to hear about other available services and support and to participate in a relaxation session.
From March onwards sessions will be on a Thursday from 11am. On alternate months the sessions are longer and include lunch and a guest speaker on subjects such as pain management, fatigue, benefits – we also try to accommodate suggestions from those attending.
If you’d like more information on either the one day course or the monthly meet up sessions then please contact us on 0845 077 1893 or e-mail
