Hello ladies
Yesterday I noticed ONE red spot about an inch away from my scar, today its still there. I tried not to think anything of it yesterday, put it to the back of my mind, hoping it would be gone today, but its still there.
I know its stupid, but I can't stop checking it to see if it has got any bigger, smaller, etc.
I'm pretty sure it is not an insect bite, its not itchy, just raised and red and about the size of a normal everyday spot.
sorry, for burdening you with my silly paranoia

hiya Carol
I am just the same as you. Noticed a red spot on my chest a few weeks ago, tried not to think about it. When hubby came home he asked where that had come from? that was it- convinced it was back!!
Two days later no sign of it! I think we will always panic after BC but its not paranoia its fear!!
Let me know how you go
Best Wishes

Carole - so sorry to hear of your new worry...
I know this is one of the things we have both been looking out for most... When are you due to see your onc / nurse again...? Really hope it soon vanishes again...

Dear Carole
I dont have IBC, i had bilateral ibc - ilc mix ,lumpectomy surg
and i am on my third chemo, but i do understand and feel you sooooo
well, every different ache or looks gives me sometimes insomni
BUT, then i trust medicines nature and God...
And of course when i doubts are too strong i call my BS or Onco.
even go and see them, it gives me a relief
Also allways i post here, it feels good
I wish that yr worry will be just.... nothing
Hugs and prayers from Istanbul
Seda-xx
Thanks Seda and Kay for your kind words
Theresa I am next at the hospital on Fri 7th Aug to see the nurse and to have no 19 Herceptin, but I am due to see my GP on Monday next for a general check up, so will mention it then if I still have it, although I am not sure if she knows much about IBC and skin recurrence.
Anyway, I'll try not to worry

Hi Carole
I know that paranoia so well!! So far all my worries have been allayed by the professionals and I hope that goes for your new scare as well. I will be thinking of you
