phyllodes or fibroid?

Hi, I have recently had surgery to remove a 5cm lump. Originally this was thought to be a fibroid, but after a core biopsy I was told that the lump was thought to be a benign phyllodes tumour and would need to be removed asap. I had my surgery on the 8th Dec, and today received a letter to say that the lump showed no evidence of malignancy and was a fibroidadenoma (sorry for spelling). Whilst i am over the moon that the lump is benign, I am still a little upside down. I phoned the hospital to ask when my follow up appointment would be as the recovery nurse said the surgeon had requested I be seen in two weeks, and was told that follow ups are not needed. I am really confused as two weeks ago I was told that the surgery was needed quickly and now I feel like I cant get any answers. I am worried as to whether the lump will return and I have a lot of unanswered questions.
Is anyone else in a similar situation
Thanks
