Pregnancy and Tamoxifen
Hi all. I've been on Tamoxifen for just over a year for ER+ BC. I spoke to my oncologist and hormone specialist about stopping it to get pregnant. I am 36 years old and have no kids. He said they usually recommend that one takes it for at least 2 years, but still gave me the go ahead. They advised that I should be off it for at least 8 weeks before conceiving. Interestingly, I'd only stopped it for just under 2 weeks and then conceived. Now the dilemma is, do I carry on with the pregnancy and face the possible risk of teratogenesis or do the unthinkable. They've referred me to Gynae/Obs for counselling.
I'd like to know if anyone has ever been in this situation and then gone on and had a perfectly healthy baby.

Bumping this up for you Palm. xx
