sternum and skin infiltration

hi as anyone else had cancer cells in the sternum and I also have a strange rash on my left side and that is cancer cells. I am still working but pain is slowly increased where I feel I have been thumped in the chest. I haven't spoke to anyone who is affected in the sternum. The skin is baffling too. Rash is unusual I keep getting told but it burns at times I thought it was going with xeloda 6 cycles but now its popping up on my tummy! They are reevaluating me next week following a CT Scan.

Hello Maz,
I had a regional recurrence in the sternum five years ago which was treated with rads, an ooph and Anastrozole which kept me NED for almost five years. I was diagnosed with a second recurrence back in October and was heading for a sternectomy until a recent PET scan showed that there is disease beyond the sternum now, too. I started Xeloda today and will do four cycles before they scan me again. I also have a bit of a rash between my breasts and it comes and goes at the base of my neck. The rash on my neck can be itchy, but I don't have any symptoms from the rash on my chest. I have never felt burning from either rash.
Fingers crossed for those CT scan results. Feel free to PM me if you want to "chat". Take care, Angelfalls xx
