I'm sure this has probably been thought of before but you never know....
It would be great if we could have a facebook style "chat" facility on the forum so that forum members could have conversations with each other if they wanted to.
I don't know if you'd be OK with that due to regulating the site and monitoring it etc.
It would be good, especially at night when you can't sleep and things.

Kat I've tried this back in march but no luck it be great when wide awake to chat come on moderators try to help us poor ladies who can't sleep laura
Theres a facebook style thread which i set up months ago and people did just chat in fb style bullet points on it. It was sent to solitary confinement in chit chat for a while, which is where good threads go to die..... But it was released after a concerted campaign
Hello
Thankyou so much for your suggestion.
This is something that we are currently thinking about. Hopefully, we will launch a pilot livechat once we have a better idea of what we'll be able to offer. Before we do this we will liaise with all our forum members.
Many thanks
June, moderator
Hi June,
A trial livechat would be good but I'm not sure that's the answer as presumably livechat would need to be staffed. Is there a way to have a message/chat ? ie if you're online at same time you can message in real time. That way those awake can easily comunicate without the need for staffing.
Thanks for responding to members needs/requests
