Well Done !! Hey Copperbeach , however did you make that mistake girl
) I had mine counted on every finger and toe.............lol.
still cant believe it, if I could drink I\'d open a bottle of champers for us tonight............................I did keep it for a special occasion, but something like this never entered my head when I stashed it away
)

Easy mistake ! Hi Marge and well done !
Yes I had mine counted too but when I was too ill two weeks ago to have day 8 of my CMF they changed my plan so that I was told I was having two final sessions but a lowered dose and all given on one day each time so I figured that I had two more to go. Confused? So was I
The onc didn\'t have all my notes for that consultation (as half of them were at the nurse led clinic in my closest to home hosp. where I was being treated untill the infection that caused me to be neutropenic sepsis. then I was shifted to the hosp. where they have the onc clinic as that is protocol. You can have your treatment at the nurse led clinic only if you have no serious side effects.).Today when she had studied my full history she found that I had only one more session to finish.
It was weird as she didn\'t communicate this at the consultation this morning. She then came to see me in the day room as my treatment finished to explain it to me again trying to cover the fact that she had misinformed me by suggesting ( not overtly ) that I had got it wrong.
Few! That takes a bit of explaining. sorry to go on and on....
Anyhow, cloud 9 is great isn\'t it.
Rads next, 27 sessions !!!
See rads thread for how I feel about that at the mo.
Yes do keep in touch. Here\'s to us. Lets clink those champagne flutes!

fantastic news Hey Ali
great news re chemo ending. Congrats! Day 8 for me Thursday and then 2 months to go. Big news is I\'m starting rads next Monday. Went for planning session this Monday so am all set for 8.40 next.
Planning session was fine although I had to stay in quite an uncomfortable position for half an hour. Hey ho. Radiographers were charming. I\'m not self conscious about \"exposing\" myself so that part of it was fine. I know some women feel very awkward and I feel sorry for them having to go through it so many times. Hope it\'s ok for you. When do you have your planning session?
