Take part in research about male experiences of cancer care
Are you a man who has been diagnosed with breast cancer? Amy Halls, a Ph.D. student from Durham University, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, is researching the role of gender within patient organisations and would like to interview male breast cancer patients.
Previous research has shown male breast cancer patients may have needs that are not adequately addressed within the current healthcare system. This research project aims to explore the area of gender within patient organisations, through interviewing male breast cancer patients, and both male and female staff members of health care organisations. These will take place May-June 2011.
If you are interested in taking part, please contact Amy on 07870 506 187 or email.
