Throat Pain during Radiotheraphy

Hello everyone! My mother is under radiotheraphy at the most known institute from Romania,she's at the 12th session of theraphy, after the 7th session she started to have throat pain,she hardly can swallow.Does enyone experienced this? The doctors from here prescribed here Vitamin A in an oil form,but ut seems that has no effect.Any suggestion to relieve the pain? Thanks

I had this problem too.
Soluble paracetamol,2 gargled before meals and swallowed. No more than 8 tablets a day though.

Hi
We are warned that it can be a side effect especially if the chest wall is being treated. I would go the route of paracetemol and eating soft foods. It should sort itself out after treatment finishes. Hope that helps I have had a slight burning sensation but nothing too drastic ....yet. I finished 15 rads Thursday and am now on 3 boosts

Had any effect the soluble paracetamol Elttiks? And how soon came the result? Do you have on the market pure soluble paracetamol?

I just called the pharmacy they have only solube paracetamol with vitamin C or Codeine, which should be tried ?
