Unused Drug disposal For those of you who may have unused drugs and want them to go to a good home, this organisation has been allowed to continue its good work, and it is shortly to be licenced to receive drugs from GPs, hospitals and NHS trusts. It is worth bringing it to the attention of your doctors: http://www.intercare.org.uk
Thank you Phoebe I have many leftovers in my medicine cabinet and cannot bring myself to dispose of them. I would love them to fulfil their purpose instead of ending up in landfill.

Drug disposal Thanks for this thread Phoebe - I too have many unusued drugs in my medicine cabinet as my gastro keeps changing my medication. I have steroids, calcium tablets, alendronate , even two bottles of morphine, and methotrexate (pills, as I am now on injections) and wonder if chemists will be included in this scheme. In the past I have taken unused drugs to him but have no idea what he does with them. Must ask when I next pop in.
