Waiting game Hi to you all
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on the 21st December. I have been referred to another hospital because they have better Cosmetic surgeons. I was told at the time they had to operate within 4 weeks that being 21 Jan. The new hospital are only offering a consultation on the 26th then wait for theatre date. Should I push or just leave it till then. Its for Mastectomy and reconstruction
Hi scottydog,
Waiting has to be one of the worst aspects of this disease. In your shoes I would want to feel i had done everything I could - and that would include phoning someone and just putting your point of view and asking if anything can be brought forward. Done courteously what is there to lose?
