How can we help?
What we do
We have been certified as a producer of reliable health and social care information.
After your event
A big thank you! We really appreciate all the hard work you’ve put into making your fundraiser a big success. The money you raised will help make sure that we continue to be there for everyone who needs us.
Make your donation go further – Gift Aid it!
Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. The scheme, introduced by the Inland Revenue, allows us to claim 25p for every £1 that you donate - as long as you pay at least that amount in tax and give the charity permission to claim.
For us to claim Gift Aid on the money you've raised, a Gift Aid Donations Form must be completed. We can also claim Gift Aid on sponsorship donations, so please make sure that everyone who sponsors you has filled in every section of your sponsor form, and you send these completed forms to us.
If you haven’t done so already please register your details with us and you’ll receive the declaration form and sponsorship form to complete and send back to us.
How to send in the money you've raised:
- online – pay in your money now using a credit or debit card
- by cheque – complete a Money Return Form and send it to your local fundraising team in London and the South of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland or Midlands and the North of England. You’ll find the address of your local office on the form. Please make cheques payable to 'Breast Cancer Care' and don’t forget to include sponsor forms or a gift aid declaration form so that we can claim Gift Aid on the money you have raised.
- at your bank – contact your local fundraising team to request a paying in slip so that you can pay the money in at your bank straight to Breast Cancer Care. You still need to post a Gift Aid declaration form or sponsorship forms to us so that we can claim Gift Aid on the money you have raised.
The quicker you send your money in, the quicker we can put it to work. Once we’ve received your money we’ll send you a letter to say thank you for your fantastic support.
Tell us about your event!
We’d love to hear about your fundraiser, so please send your stories and photographs to fundraising@breastcancercare.org.uk
Please let us know if you are happy for us to share your story to inspire others to fundraise for us. We will always contact you to make sure you are happy for us to use the information you provided.
