'I had the pleasure of working with Carol Sneddon and her team mates from Strathclyde Park Ladies Golf Club. They came to me with the idea of organising a ladies golf day and the hoped to raise £500. The committee all worked tirelessly, both in the run up to the event and on the day itself; securing raffle prizes, serving cups of tea and organising tee off times! It was really great seeing the event come together and I was glad that I could lend a helping hand when they needed me. Their event was a tremendous success and raised a phenomenal £2,153.'

How your support helps
£2 pays for a headscarf set, helping to boost the confidence of a woman who has lost her hair as a result of her breast cancer treatment.
£52 pays for a personal appointment with our HeadStrong service to help women cope with the distress of hair loss from cancer treatment.
£132 pays to connect someone going through breast cancer with a trained volunteer who has had a similar experience to them and can provide one-to-one support and reassurance.

A little of your time could make a big difference to people in need. We need volunteers across the UK to help out at events.
