How your support helps
£2 pays for a headscarf set, helping to boost the confidence of a woman who has lost her hair as a result of her breast cancer treatment.
£52 pays for a personal appointment with our HeadStrong service to help women cope with the distress of hair loss from cancer treatment.
£132 pays to connect someone going through breast cancer with a trained volunteer who has had a similar experience to them and can provide one-to-one support and reassurance.

Model on the catwalkOn Wednesday 2 October The Breast Cancer Care Show will once again welcome 24 women and men to the catwalk for the first time following their diagnosis of breast cancer to mark the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks to all our supporters last year the event raised an incredible £345,000.

We are delighted to welcome back world renowned fashion correspondent, Hilary Alexander as stylist of The Show. Working alongside professional teams from London Fashion Week and with support from Breast Cancer Care’s celebrity ambassadors and Patrons, Denise Lewis and Geri Halliwell, this is an event that our guests enjoy year after year.

Payment
We can accept payment by any credit or debit card except American Express. If you would prefer to send a cheque, please contact the team directly for instructions.
Cancellation policy
A 50% refund is available on tickets up to six weeks before the event, or no later than Thursday 15 August 2013. After this, we are unable to offer refunds.

Thank you to all the people who took the time to complete and submit an application to model in The Breast Cancer Care Show 2012, London. We are always so touched by the number of people who apply and this year we received a record number of 193!
We will be contacting all applicants after making the selection at the end of February.

Prizes and auctions
The Show has a whole host of fundraising games to entertain our guests and offers the chance to win some wonderful prizes.

Auction lots
Each auction lot is designed to make the maximum impact and PR buzz in the lead-up to the event and on the night. We are looking for auction lots with a value of £1,000-3,500 upwards to engage keen bidding from the evening show’s affluent and influential audience.
Previous bidders at our auction have included Asda, Geri Halliwell, O'Melveny and Myers, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sir Phillip Green, SONY, Swarovski and Tresor Paris
Benefits for your company include:

Prizes
We need over 1,000 prizes for our fundraising games varying in value from £10 to £1,000. Our goody bags, luxury tombola and raffle are just a few of the activities where we welcome company support.

Volunteer
Our fashion show is a huge event with 2,000 guests annually in attendance.
On the day we need a strong team of between 120-140 volunteers for both the afternoon and evening events. Our volunteers include Breast Cancer Care staff, their friends and family, previous models, committee members and charity supporters.
If you would like to volunteer for either the Afternoon or Evening Show (or both!) we would love your help. It’s also a great way to experience the event and to be a part of this amazing occasion.
Timings
Please see below outline timings for volunteers. These are approximate and vary for individual roles:
Afternoon Show volunteers: between 9-11.30am through to 4.30pm
Evening Show volunteers: between 4.30-7.30pm through to 11pm
We also look for volunteers who can stay for both events.
Volunteer roles
All volunteers receive a full briefing document beforehand with details of your role and timings for the day. Here is a summary of the various roles you may be involved with:
Set up
Helping to set up the champagne reception areas, main room, prizes, merchandise and goody bags.
Reception
Usher guests through to the champagne reception as they arrive; sell programmes to guests (Afternoon only); sell pin badges to guests.
Gold Donor reception
Usher guests through to the Gold Donor champagne reception as they arrive; sell programmes to guests (Afternoon only).
Luxury prize dip (Afternoon only)
In pairs, sell lucky dip-style envelopes ranging from £10 to £30 to guests in the champagne reception.
Prize collection table (Afternoon only)
Hand out prizes to guests. They will give you a numbered ticket that corresponds to a prize.
Table hosts
You will be given a number of tables to look after during the event. Circulate your allocated tables to look after guests' needs; buying raffle tickets/Heads and Tails cards and answering guests' questions.
Setting up live and silent auction displays
Help to set up a display of auction lots in the Ballroom and Great Room to promote the prizes to guests.
Auction spotting
At the Evening Show: helping to direct the attention of the auctioneer towards bids being made in the live auction and collecting payment details once a winning bid has been made.
