The Show London, 2011

1499 The 15th annual Breast Cancer Care Show got off to a spectacular start in the afternoon with host Ruth Langsford introducing Strictly Come Dancing’s Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova to perform an exclusive routine. Then it was the turn of the models to amaze guests with styling by Hilary Alexander and clothing from designer names such as Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood. With hair by Sassoon and make up by Estée Lauder, our models showed the 2,000 guests that you can look sensational and have body confidence after a diagnosis of breast cancer.

The glamour didn’t stop at the catwalk; evening host Arlene Phillips introduced amazing performances from Geoff Sewell and Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Virshilas and her dance partner Klaus Kongsdal. The evening ended on a high with a show stopping performance from Heather Small, with guests dancing late into the night. Thank you to all our celebrity supporters who kept our guests entertained on the night; Bernie and Linda Nolan, Vanessa Feltz, Ben Ofoedu, Lisa Snowdon, Denise Lewis, Dr Hilary Jones and Diana Moran.

All of the guests enjoyed an emotional but uplifting experience with the event raising a fantastic £382,000 for the charity. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible including O’Melveny & Myers, woman&home magazine, YOU magazine, George at ASDA, The Escape, Highland Spring and all of our Gold Donor supporters.
