7 March 2012 – Cardiff City Hall
Save the date! It’s back! The Breast Cancer Care Cymru fashion show is now in its second year, and will once again be taking place at one of Cardiff’s most iconic buildings, the fabulous City Hall. We have invited 20 new models from across Wales to the catwalk. Come along and join us in celebrating their strength and achievement as they take to the catwalk for the first time, each with a diagnosis of breast cancer and a unique story to tell.
Enjoy the glamour of these men and women as they showcase the latest in designer fashion and enjoy an entertaining evening that you will never forget!
'You had to pinch yourself and remind yourself what the whole event was about as it was so easy to forget the reason behind it and the fact that 18 amazing individuals were prepared to stand up and embrace the fact they had been close to such tragedy.
'I got the impression they were loving every minute, and they looked like they knew the stage inch by inch. The way they all came out, the choreography and the styling, it all looked so professional!'
Anna Ryder Richardson
Working their magic backstage for The Show once again will be the amazing Suzanne Jaya and her styling team which will include famous hair salon Ken Picton. They will spend the day making sure that all our models look and feel a million dollars as they make their catwalk debut.
Welsh pride will be running high and we will be expecting another sell out event and an equally impressive line up for 2012.
The Show really does prove that you can look good and feel fantastic despite an experience of breast cancer. If you are interested in getting involved and supporting The Show this year, please contact the Cardiff events team at cardiffshow@breastcancercare.org.uk or call 0292 023 4077.
