Whitewater rafting is a thrilling way to have fun and raise money for Breast Cancer Care. No previous experience is necessary, so why not give it a go? 

There are six whitewater rafting centres throughout the UK for you to choose from.

The sponsorship level is set at £1,000 for a whole team of up to eight people, that's just £125 per person... and of course you are allowed to raise more!

412 How many people does one raft hold?

Each raft can carry between six and eight people - so you can enter either as a company team, or get together with friends or family to make up your team.

Where will the whitewater rafting take place?

Whitewater rafting courses run at six centres across the UK.

When can I raft?

The whitewater rafting adventures take place all year round. Simply indicate which weekends you would prefer as your first and second choice dates in the online booking form.

How much will whitewater rafting cost me?

The cost depends on where you are rafting. Find your closest centre on the Skyline website.

Are there any restrictions on age or health for whitewater rafting?

You do not have to be an athlete to go whitewater rafting but you should be reasonably fit, feel confident in water and be aged between 14 and 65 (those under 18 will need parental consent).

Most centres have weight limits of 17 stone but some centre's may vary so please call us if you have any questions regarding this. Those who are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs should not take part and those with asthma, epilepsy, diabetes or a heart condition should consult their doctor. If you have any doubts at all about your suitability you should consult your doctor.

What about whitewater rafting insurance?

The whitewater rafting company operating each centre has their own insurance but this does not cover you for personal injury. Should you wish to take out cover for personal injury you should either arrange this through your own broker or you can read about our Personal Insurance scheme.
