Windsor Triathlon
The Windsor Triathlon is an event not to be missed - no other event in the world can compete with the historical backdrop of Windsor Castle, Eton College and the majestic River Thames.
How your support helps
£2 pays for a headscarf set, helping to boost the confidence of a woman who has lost her hair as a result of her breast cancer treatment.
£52 pays for a personal appointment with our HeadStrong service to help women cope with the distress of hair loss from cancer treatment.
£132 pays to connect someone going through breast cancer with a trained volunteer who has had a similar experience to them and can provide one-to-one support and reassurance.
What we do
Toshiba Windsor Triathlon – 17 June 2012
About
Sunday 17 June 2012
Voted 'Event of the Year' a remarkable seven times by triathlon experts, the Toshiba Windsor Triathlon is an event not to be missed. No other event in the world can compete with the historical backdrop of Windsor Castle, Eton College and the majestic River Thames.
The river swim is followed by a bike course that takes in a number of villages around beautiful Berkshire returning through Windsor Great Park. The multi-lap course winds around the Great Castle, over Eton bridge and along Eton High Street, passing Eton College.
If you have never been to Windsor, the triathlon weekend will provide a terrific opportunity to see this historic town. With plenty of places to eat and shop, and lots to see and do, it’s a great day out for the family or the perfect excuse for a weekend away!

Training is essential to your Toshiba Windsor Triathlon preparation. The more you put in the more enjoyable your experience will be! We have designed some guidelines for you to follow, please see below a suggested triathlon training plan to help you on your way.
Our week by week training plan specifies how far and how often you should run, cycle and swim. It also tells you when to rest in order to get the most out of your training. We suggest you should start your preparations eight weeks before the race. The increase in mileage in our training plan is designed to help you improve your fitness level for the big day.
Use our stretching guide to help you fully prepare for yourself for your training sessions and on race day.
