Leading support charity Breast Cancer Care has launched an exciting new walking group for people in and around Halifax and Huddersfield who have had a breast cancer diagnosis.

Walking is great for overall health, and being active is recommended for people who’ve had cancer. ‘Best Foot Forward Health Walks’ are designed for people of all abilities and fitness levels who want to get more active and feel better after treatment for breast cancer.

Get together with friends and family this summer and host a Strawberry Tea party for Breast Cancer Care. The charity’s Strawberry Tea campaign, sponsored by fine bone china teaware specialist Royal Albert, runs from 1st June – 31st August and raises money to help support the 55,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK.

Our first ever Ribbonride took off  in sunshine at Blenheim Palace on Sunday 12 May. One hundred and twenty-five cyclists headed out on a 26 or 60-mile route from the stunning grounds, led through the Cotswolds by the Breast Cancer Care Cycling Team.
