Get email support from someone who's been there too

The unique insight and support of our trained one-to-one peer support volunteers is now available by email alongside the established telephone service.

Sometimes only someone who’s been there can really understand what you’re going through. And sometimes it’s easier not to talk face to face or to someone you know.

Perhaps you’ve just been diagnosed and struggling to take it all in. Or maybe you're approaching the end of your treatment and finding it hard to move forward. Whether you need a space to explore your feelings and emotions or have questions about, for instance, a particular treatment or your reconstruction choice, our volunteers are here to help.

So if you think it would help to ‘chat’ to one of our volunteers but you'd prefer to do it by email then you can read brief profiles of the volunteers and find out how to send a message.

If you’ve got queries about the service or would prefer to speak to someone on the phone, contact the Peer Support team on ukpeersupportteam@breastcancercare.org.uk or 0845 077 1893.
