If you or someone you love needs support over the festive period, our online Discussion Forum is always open.

Christmas and the New Year can be a difficult time for many people, for all sorts of reasons, but for those newly diagnosed with breast cancer, or those waiting for results, it can be particularly stressful.

Families and friends may have lost loved ones or be caring for someone who is unwell at home.

We receive many calls to the Helpline from people in these situations. The Helpline staff are there to talk through worries and concerns and we will also provide you with details of where else you can go for further support and information.

Our free, confidential Helpline calls are answered by nurses and trained staff with experience of breast cancer. Whatever your concern, you can be confident we will understand the issues you might be facing, and that the information you receive is clear and up-to-date.

During the Christmas and New Year period the Helpline’s opening hours are Monday 24 December 9am-2pm, Thursday 27 and 28 December 9am-5pm, Saturday 29 December 10am-2pm, Monday 31 December 9am-2pm.

Normal 9am -5pm opening hours resume on the Wednesday the 2 January 2013.

Of course our website and the online Discussion Forum are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
