Stay in touch online
There are lots of ways to stay in touch with us (and each other) online as well as keeping up to date with the latest news on our website and spreading the word about and the services and support offered by Breast Cancer Care. You could use social media to help raise more money: get online and keep your friends up to date with your fundraising efforts on Facebook or Twitter.
Where can you find us?
Breast Cancer Care online forum
Find other people affected by breast cancer, ask questions and share experiences. With over 17,000 registered users, you’re bound to find someone to talk to.
'Like' us on Facebook and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest from Breast Cancer Care. You can also comment on our updates, talk to other people who like Breast Cancer Care and help us to spread the word by sharing our news with your own Facebook friends.
Follow @BCCare on Twitter and you’ll get up to the minute news from Breast Cancer Care. You can also chat to us, ask us questions and of course help to spread the word by retweeting our messages to your own followers.
Flickr
Find us on Flickr to see the latest photos of our events, like the Pink Ribbonwalk, and campaigning. We also have Flickr groups where you can upload photos of your own fundraising events, such as Strawberry Tea.
YouTube and Vimeo
Find us on YouTube and Vimeo to see the latest films about our events, services and breast health information.
Blogs
Find out more about what goes on behind the scenes at Breast Cancer Care. We’ll be adding more blogs to the site, but for the moment check out the Newsblog, campaigning blog and policy blog.
Are you a blogger?
If you’re a blogger yourself, you can show your support for Breast Cancer Care and help to raise awareness of the work we do by adding one of these blog buttons to your blog. You can even include one in your email signature, MySpace or other social networking profile or as an advert on your personal or business website.
Instructions
Choose from one of the button sizes below and copy and paste the embed code into an HTML block on your site.
Or you can simply download the image you want (right-click the image and select ‘Save Picture As…’) and then upload it using your preferred blogging or publishing tool. If you use this method, we’d really appreciate it if you could also make the image link back to our website - www.breastcancercare.org.uk
There are two different versions of each image: one with a white background and one with a transparent background. Choose the transparent version if you want the button to pick up the background colour of your blog or website. If your site is pink, we recommend you use the white version.
