Many people with breast cancer will lose their hair as a result of their treatment, and for some, this is a particularly distressing experience.
This booklet explains how you may lose your hair and the effect it may have on you and discusses wigs, scarves and other headwear.
It has practical hints and tips on caring for your hair and scalp during and after treatment, different ways of tying scarves and using cosmetics to replace eyebrows and eyelashes.
It also lists where you can attend a free HeadStrong appointment, where you can talk through any concerns you have, try on hats, scarves and hairpieces and learn scarf-tying ideas.
