Top women from the restaurant world unite for Pink Plates
For the first time throughout May and June 2017, restaurants across London took part in our new Pink Plates campaign by asking customers to add a £1 donation onto their bill to raise money for people affected by breast cancer. Below is a list of the fantastic restaurants across London that we partnered with:
- Cafe Murano
- Grain Store
- Honey & Co
- Koya Bar
- Merchants Tavern
- Social Pantry
- The Modern Pantry
To launch this exciting campaign, we hosted an exclusive one-off dinner on Monday 8 May at Moro restaurant. Samantha Clark, chef proprietor of Moro, invited some of Britain's leading female chefs - Angela Hartnett MBE, Margot Henderson, Skye Gyngell, Thomasina Miers and Marianna Leivaditaki to join her in the kitchen and create a bespoke menu for the night. It was a wonderful evening to mark the start of this campaign, raised a great amount for the charity and everyone who attended was treated to a delicious and unique experience.
To close the campaign, the fabulous Honey and Smoke held an evening of canapes, food from their grill and delicious wine on Sunday 2 July. There was also a live band, a raffle and auction and some of the chefs who took part in the campaign dropped by as well.
