Challenge yourself to walk 500,000 steps in association with Skechers for Breast Cancer Care over two months. That’s almost one step for every woman currently living with breast cancer in the UK.
It’s up to you how you take on the challenge.
Whether it’s increasing your daily step count, going on long walks, or a bit of both to hit your target, you’ll be showing your support with every step. And most importantly you’ll be doing something amazing for people affected by breast cancer so that together, we can provide support for today and hope for the future.

How far is 500,000 steps?
500,000 steps works out at just over 8,000 steps a day every day from the start of May to the end of June. But you can choose to try and reach this step count in your own time depending on the challenge you want to set yourself.
How can I reach 500,000 steps?
How you reach 500,000 steps is entirely up to you. You can set yourself a daily challenge to walk just over 8,000 steps a day for two months, or decide to go on long distance walks a few times a month. This challenge is flexible to work around you.
How do I know my step count?
Many smart phones will have a pedometer built in, or you may have your own activity band such as a FitBit to help you keep an eye on your progress. If you're unsure on how to track your activity please get in touch with us.
How much money do I need to raise?
There is no minimum fundraising requirement for this challenge. You can set your own goal, but aiming for £100 could be a good place to start.
