Feeling overwhelmed after your breast cancer diagnosis? Adjusting to the news that you have breast cancer can often be difficult and you might need some support.
It’s common to experience many different emotions following your diagnosis. You may be feeling shocked, angry, uncertain about the future or even relieved that the cancer has been found and is going to be treated. Meeting others in a similar situation at one of our Support During Treatment events might help you cope with the how you're feeling.
Run in partnership with NHS hospitals, our free Support During Treatment sessions usually take place over half a day. As well as meeting others going through a similar situation, you will benefit from professional support and trusted information on how to cope with and adjust to life after a breast cancer diagnosis.
The course is open to people who have had a primary breast cancer diagnosis and are in active treatment.
Good to be able to speak to other people who have been through some of the same treatments and feelings as yourself.
